ABOUT

Set within a traditional Victorian home in Logan Circle, this project centered on the power of photography as personal storytelling. The home’s architecture offered warmth and character, while its abundant natural light created the unique challenge of navigating intense glare throughout the interiors.  In collaboration with National Geographic visual storyteller Josh Eli Cogan — whom the client was introduced to through Capital Creatives advisory services — we developed a deeply personal, photography-focused collection rooted in memory, identity, and place. Together, we carefully selected archival works that reflected pivotal moments and emotional undercurrents from the client’s life, building a collection that felt both intimate and expansive.

Each photograph was then custom commissioned and printed specifically for its intended location within the home, allowing scale, tone, and materiality to respond directly to the surrounding architecture and light and to elevate each space and . Tailored, custom framing solutions further integrated the works into the rhythm of the interiors, balancing preservation with softness and warmth.  Alongside the new acquisitions, the client’s existing art collection was thoughtfully re-curated to create a layered visual landscape — one alive with narrative and emotional resonance. The result is a home that felt completely refreshed and deeply inhabited by story: a living archive of personal history, curiosity, and evolving identity.
